Blender 3d Series: Installation

So you’re all hyped up about the Blender software I explained in my last article (http://hubpages.com/hub/What-Is-Blender-Well-Its-not-for-Food). So now I am going to take you step by step in installing it to your computer. The file isn’t large at all and the installation will only take a few minutes, so don’t fret.

1. You need to go to www.blender.org, At the top of the page you will then see the download button. CLICK IT.

2. Install Blender version 2.58a (which should be the latest) for the operating system you own.

3. Afterward you should be brought to a screen that says the download will begin shortly.

If it doesn’t begin click on the “click here” link in blue.

4. After it finishes downloading, run the download and you will be brought to set up screen.

Since we are only beginners all we need to do is click next through the whole setup.

5. When it finishes click on the blender icon on your desktop/programs list.

6. You should then see this. And you’re all done! Play around with the software until the next tutorial!
